To our valued clients,

Now that COVID-19 is causing concern in the state of Louisiana, Houses 2 Homes would like to address some processes and strategies, in regards to concerns that have been arising and inform you of what we are doing to keep you and your home safe and sanitary. Like you, we are diligently monitoring the Center for Disease Control (CDC), as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) for updates and any changes that might affect the way we serve you and your family.

Currently, no one in our local area has been identified as having the virus, so we feel that now is the time to plan and prepare in case we do see an outbreak in our community. After further research, we have decided it is best to continue to serve the needs of our clients in cleaning and disinfecting their homes.

Because of school closings and clients working from home, we are asking that you help us do our part by allowing the technicians a distraction-free environment for doing their work. We understand that a lot of families have no choice but to be home during this time, and we are happy to accommodate. Here is how you can help: If your children are home, please allow the technician to properly clean and sanitize one full area of the home (i.e. the bathroom or kitchen, etc.) completely before allowing the children into that area. When they are done cleaning and if you or your children are in the next area they need to clean, they will politely notify you of needing to clean that area. You may move to another area and they will let you know when they have completed it, and then you may reenter.

As always, we will take every measure necessary to ensure the safety of our clients and technicians. Here are some of the steps we are taking:

  1. We use fresh supplies at each home. We paper-towel clean all bathroom and kitchen surfaces. We use clean dusters, cloths, and gloves for each home as well. The technicians are given adequate clean supplies each day to clean their assigned homes. We also disinfect our equipment after each clean. Our technicians will also wear disposable hospital-grade gloves while cleaning every area of your home and will dispose of them and replace with new ones after cleaning each bathroom and kitchen especially and upon leaving your home. We will also use hand sanitizer before and after entering/exiting your home.
  2. We recognize the important role that we fill in keeping your home clean and sanitized during times like this. At each visit, we sanitize doorknobs, light switches, and other highly-touched areas in each room of your home.
  3. In the past, we have allowed our clients to give cash tips to our technicians. During this time specifically, we are asking that you apply your tip through the digital invoice or allow our Client Services Representative to add the tip to your transaction so that further hand-to-hand transmission is prevented.
  4. For your safety, if our technicians are contagiously ill, we will not send them to your home to clean. We may offer to send a backup or move your appointment in this case.
  5. For the safety of our technicians, we are asking that if you are ill that you call us immediately to reschedule your appointment. During the next few weeks and the sake of health and safety, we will be excusing the last-minute cancellation fees for your appointment if you (or anyone in the home) are indeed ill and will be happy to reschedule to a later date.
  6. It is extremely important to have your home disinfected during this time, and we are more than capable of doing so. Until further notice, we will still be open for business because of this need. If you would like to add additional cleaning appointments, please let us know and we will accommodate our schedule for you.

Thank you for trusting us with the cleaning and sanitizing of your home and if you have any additional questions or concerns, please call us at: 337-516-1122.

Blessings!
